The latest A12X Bionic processor in the latest iPad Pro is quite useful for NN. According to the app “A Master of Go” it reaches 170 pps (playouts per second), while an iPad with a A10 processor only reaches 10 pps.
So strong Go and chess engines are possible for the latest iPad Pro. What is needed is an app that can read Leela networks.
Hi godeka, thanks that is useful to know - I was referring to the new iPad Pro. So essentially it could work but something would need to be developed, it couldn't be used currently though. I really hope more apps are developed that make the most of the new processor, I wonder if there are any plans to make alpha zero available as well in the future

35xxx (or training run 1 ), they are strongest small network (10x128)
30xxx (or training run 2), they are strong big network. (20x256) (still weaker than 11248)

Is it possible this could be made available on iOS for iPad Pro? Or could it be run through the cloud to work on this device?
There is no iphone or ipad version yet but they dont have neural processing unit and It will be pretty slow and useless anyway.(may be 2100-21500 rating at most)
