Table bases are a cheat.
Do you know how many CPU years of calculations( I think more than hundreds) to solve/ generate those Tablebases, wherease a good programming method can solve within a few seconds.
Is that enough to hype?

Programmers and engines fans are usually excited whenever their favourite can solve a hard puzzle.
This is a notorious Bad bishop puzzle whereas most Alpha Beta engines are struggling a lot for decades. ( I think stockfish in 2018 can solve now).
But Leela can solve in 5 secs by Pattern recognition like human.
