Lets look at Anand's blunder in another way

If he miraculously comes back and wins this WCC he can make Carlsen look like a awful player compared to him.

Sure, Many people are saying his chances are very low now, even lower than when he lost to Carlsen in Game 2 but a comeback is still possible.

Even though Vishy spoiled game 6, he already had a great career and he will lose his WCC title sooner or later anyway.

So let us look at the idea that Vishy will come back and win this WCC after the drama from game 6.

How do you think this will change chess history? ( If it happens of course)

How would you react if that actually somehow happens?

I know people will say its almost impossible but i said IF. Lets look at the scenario itself and not the chances whether it will happen or not.

Personally, I think Carlsen will get critisized even harder cause he got game 6 given to him.

I even think Norwegians might start to lose hope in Carlsen and everybody else in the world will do so too. Etc

I also think Vishy's comeback would be hailed as one of the greatest comeback's ever.

I think it would be even better than Kasparov's comeback in 1984-1985 since he is already old

Except that there is a rumor that Anand was paid to throw the game. It might be plausible; during the press conference he was just not showing any emotion and he was very nonchalent about his miss. I thought that was strange. Nobody wanted or dared to ask him about it, everyone turned to Carlsen.

Sometimes conspiracy "nuts"are proven right. You never know.

maybe just stop overthinking it. both players already wrote their name in the hall of the greats (regardless of what you think) and neither anand nor carlsen will suddenly be considered a patzer or anything, except by some unreasonable people

I think is clear the main reason for a player at that level blundering is about fatigue, pressure and maybe nerves, and the main reason for overlooking it is they are not used to face such situations. No more.
