I suspect that you may be correct.
Over the years, I have sometimes had a message "your opponent violated our fair play policy", accompanied by a points refund.
I have never, ever seen this on Lichess.
Chess.com is better if your competitive

@whiteknight1968 I got that once on lichess I suspect cheaters get put into a separate pool instead of being banned but in my experience people on lichess don't cheat 95-99% of them are legit . It isn't infested with cheats in fact I'm usually the one getting framed for cheating on lichess lol
Maybe people just don't cheat that much on lichess and all the cheaters go to chess.com 😑

My chessdotcom rapid rating is below my USCF; my lichess is substantially higher. Chessdotcom has far more features, but lichess has some lacking on chessdotcom.

I'd have to disagree. I play 30/0 and I'm in the top 5% on this site, don't even make the top 30% on Lichess. The average player is way stronger over there.
I'm still around the same Top 5% lichees rapid is a lot stronger but chess.com blitz is stronger than lichess

I prefer lichess. The premoves are a lot better and it's less laggy than chess.com. I prefer the tournament styles too like the 24 hour ones, also studies and unlimited puzzles.
Then another big thing for me is the game analysis. You've got an unlimited amount of them and it's also more helpful to me than the game reviews here. Oh and the chess.com app is terrible.
Things I like about chess.com are the forums and the daily games.

Idk about this either. I reported the most obvious bullet bot a few weeks ago and it still isn't banned here.

I think it's because lichess is in France and chess.com is in USA. I'm closer to France so get no lag but get quite alot here.

It doesn’t matter much. Lichess is completely free and chess.com has some features behind a paywall. To each their own.
Lichess has a classical category for slower games, chess.com just lumps everything 10/0 and longer into rapid.
In this respect Lichess is way superior and chess.com "rapid" ratings are totally meaningless.

Lol blitz chess is the only thing that actually means something on chess.com my rating is low on classical on lichess cause i don't think I've played it in almost a year I just played 3-5 games to check it out and got bored
