hello, sorry gys I'm really excited about the new live chess960. Could somene please tell me the date that it is coming out?

What are the rules on castling in chess 960?

The staff don't want to announce when it might be ready, in case there is an issue with its development and they have to delay, in which case everyone will be REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM.

does anyone know if the development has started yet?  is the development anywhere close to being started?

I can't say for sure, but I'm fairly certain it's been under development for months, possibly years.

I don't really get chess 960.

The only advantage of chess960 is you don't need to study chess opening theory. But this is just for fun and can't be play in otb tournaments.

Chess960 in live chess is interesting.

The first time I played it I had no idea hy the pieces were messed up and I didn't know how to castle.
