Live Chess drawn position abuse

Here is a game I recently played on live chess. In it I reached the following position and repeateldly offered my opponent a draw, as we both had a few minutes on our clocks and there was literally no progess that could be made in the game. He repeatedly declined the draw offer and made me frantically play random king moves, wasting both of our time (which could be used to actually play chess), until I finally ran out of time. Has this happened to anybody else? Any suggestions on what to do?

He could only repeatedly decline your offers, if you were abusing the system by making repeated draw offers.

yep, i have had a guy do the same thing in a Rook and King vs. Rook and King endgame just to get a cheap win on time not much you can do about it except never play them again.

If you have a few minutes left, you should be able to make the 50 moves needed to claim a draw.
