Logical Chess or Russian Chess

Looking for opinions on these two books, I have them both, but just will start with one. Logical Chess: Move by Move or Russian Chess by Bruce Pandolfini. The Russian Chess seems to explain the moves and ideas better, can I get opinions from people who have read both.

And I thought I would learn why Russian chess is not logical... bit dissapointed to be honest.
