PUBLIC CHESS TEST

We have been testing regular 2 player and 4 player Chess events at Speakers' Corner, Hyde Park, London, the famous home of Freedom of Speech. The tests have been positive and constructive. The public responded with great delight.

CHESS and the BIG THINKERS

We are regular speakers at Speakers’ Corner. We have an area reserved with seating, a kind of "chill out" zone, where people can sit down and relax during and after long debate sessions at Speakers' Corner.  The Identity Politics Forum seating area has been going on for about 3 years.

We all meet up when the weather is good because people, in general, do not like to be sitting down in the rain. We thought we would introduce Chess because we thought that Chess would appeal to those who engage in discussion/debates on history, philosophy, politics, religion, and the social sciences.

We were correct. Most of the people who are interested in discussion/debates on history, philosophy, politics, religion, and the social sciences like and know how to play Chess. A lot of people who visited the area said that they have not played Chess for some time.

BIG CHANGES

As a result of the positive feedback from the regulars and the many passers-by, we are now going to rebrand the Identity Politics Forum as the "RACE CODE CHESS" area at Speakers' Corner.

PUBLIC CHESS BUFFET

The idea of the public Chess Buffet has worked wonders. Regulars and passers-by can choose to sit down and play two player Chess or 4 player Chess and engage in good conversation, whenever they feel like when there are seats available.

STRESS TEST

Only the best can survive.

Players can enjoy having to perform under the stress of the Chess gameplay, conversation, live criticism, spectators, and hecklers all at the same time. This is a totally new Chess experience and exceedingly entertaining for the spectators.

CHESS.COM PROMOTION

Chess.com might want to get involved in some way.

We are open to suggestions because there is no precedent and we hope to launch the new venture, properly, in 2022.
