Who said I don't know how to beat it ? I just don't like boring games and I don't believe these opponents are worthy of my time. But hey, if you like playing the same variation over and over without encountering different possibilities and ideas, good for you you're learning nothing but what squares your pieces will hibernate. Might as well watch the same tv episode over and over lmao

I'm just trying to learn it.
Here's my story.
I'm almost 60 and have been playing chess since I was 5.
Decided about a year ago to try to get good at it.
Read a couple of books, watched a lot of video.
Decided (for a while) to pick a few interesting openings (to me) and play the almost exclusively.
1 queen pawn and 1 king pawn for black and just 1 for white, which happens to be the London.
I'm just trying to get better and it seems to be working.
This is not the only opening I will play hundreds of times but it where I chose to start.
I'm just trying to learn it.

That dude ain't serious. I'm straining not to laugh. He is pretty funny whether he is serious or not. Anyway, I suggest you buy a good book on the London System and start playing it. That's the only thing you can do about it.

The London System does suck, but as black, you must cope with it. The best way to learn an opening is to play both sides. So this is why I advocate playing it with white; you must learn to play against it with black.
I honestly have no clue why people keep calling the London System dry-ish?
The London System is a rock solid opening which can be anything you want it to be.
People have had wicked King Side & Queen side Attacks in the London System before.
In many of the London System games you have the option of castling King side or Queen side.
If you chose to castle the opposite side of your opponent.
I.E If your opponent castles king side and you castle queen side.
Than the London System becomes a race on who can check mate first.
The only time it is dry-ish is when the player wants to do same side castling to avoid from extremely tactical games

Played the London against my cousin who is a very good player a few weeks ago and I lost but he showed me some queen side opportunities that might open the game up.
No, it's not "truth", it's your opinion. And on that note, go tell it to Gata Kamsky, among others
Clark is right. You're stupid. However, every player should try this opening out for them selves; since they can't evade it with black.
[Edited for language - Mod.] I don't care if my account gets deleted, I have more important things to do, like memorizing WC games and adding to my OTB rating rise of nearly 50 points this month.
Obviously, you have better things to do; which is why you play the London System. You wouldn't want to have to study 15 minutes here or there.
