I find it even more impressive (and perhaps a bit hilarious) that:

  1. Only around 6 of the remaining players in the tournament actually meet the rating requirement.
  2. there is a 1969 rated player in an U1150 tournament.
  3. there was at one point a 2200 rated player that got beat by an U1100 player.

well, at least i improved over the last 2 years! so did the 1969 player apparently Sealed

and the ratings changed over the the time the tournament has been going-so when it started everyone was in that range

The Tournament Director was over the limit and removed others so he would be the highest rated.
