Looking for chess partner

Hello all,

I am looking for a chess partner to play slow live chess every Sunday or Monday evening (we can agree on time/day). My rating is ~1350 in standard games; during serious play it is ~1550. I hope someone is interested or could recommend/suggest other ways of reachin out to others etc..

Hey Max,

My name is Aaron and I would be interested in playing slow live chess games. I am currently in University though so I would not be able to gurantee regular play.  What I think would work well is if we did play long chess games, but also worked together and suggested ways in which we could improve or analyze different methods.

I think this is a great idea and hopefully I can play some games against you in the future.

What time control are you looking for exactly?

Here's a whole bunch of groups that all play slow chess, many with regularly scheduled times to find opponents or even tournaments.  I'd mention NM AwwRats's groups as well, but he's pretty good at publicizing himself.  You could always do a group search though...

I could do that but won't be able to start for a few weeks as my schedule is very busy presently. I'd probably be most interested in time controls of 60+ minutes per side, 90 minutes plus 5 sec/move would be most preferable as I use that time control in most OTB tournaments I play in.
