you are welcome.
Looking to play a d4 opening

A system huh? Maybe you want to read A Cunning Opening Repertoire for White that involves 1.d4 2.Nf3 for everything.
Catalan has more life than the London, but the London is easier to play. At 1350 live you're probably better off with the London for now. I only really play a systemish setup against the KID with:
I am a middle age chess player with much OTB experiance who usally plays e4 for the most part. But as time goes on, keeping up with open games is taking up a bit of time.
Ive been thinking about moving over to d4, but prefering a "system" rather then learning to play against the KID, Grunfeld, Nimzo, QGD, Slav, ect with d4,c4 as I just do not have the time to study all these openings.
Im looking into the Catalan, but may also consider the London as a general purpose opening.
So for those that actually play these openings consistantly id would appreciate your advice
Thanks.
