Losing Bullet Games by Timeout

Hey everyone,

Lately, I’ve been losing a lot of bullet games due to timeouts, even in positions where I’m clearly ahead or drawing. It’s been super frustrating because I have a stable internet connection, and everything else seems to work fine on my end.

I’m starting to feel like giving up on bullet completely because it’s no longer enjoyable when I keep losing this way. Has anyone else experienced this? Could there be something else causing the issue—maybe device performance, server lag, or something else I’m not aware of?

Any insight or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I actually do play fast.

Slowwww. I checked one of your games. Why must you take an entire two seconds to recapture a piece?

How do you turn on premoves?

Go to settings under gameplay, enable premoves is the first one, turn it on.

Chess is a game.

You should balance both speed and strategy

It could be internet. If your internet is slow, you won't even know, the game will just be secretly stealing your time on every move. In bullet especially it really hurts. I have this problem. I make a move and then the clock always steals from me additional time. Play 2/1 or don't play bullet at all

Try speedtest application. It should minimum 50 mbps download speed, but 300+ would be even better
