Losing Games because of bad connection

Yet again, I'm playing a game and all of a sudden, I hace a "bad connection" "restoring"

Meanwhile, I see the opponent's clock running, thinking my connection might be restored by the time they move. Lo and behold, a pop up say opponent won due to my abandoning the game. I never abandon the games, and the connection always comes back fully as soon as I've lost. The other bad part is when I am losing a game and feel bad because the opponent probably thinks I abandoned on purpose. One other thing. The clocks are still running while the connection is lost, so if you are close to the end of your 10 minutes you end up losing on time.

I have lost that way a few times and I know how you feel, especially when you are close to checkmating your opponent. I don’t know what the solution is to that other than obviously having a better connection.
