Losing games because of mystery connection problems

Starting about three weeks ago I began to see sudden disruptions of my internet connection while playing games on chess.com.  In some cases I was able to restore the connection quickly enough to re-enter the game, but in many others my browser wouldn't reload the game despite five or six attempts, and I lost those games because I had "abandoned" them.   I complained to the admins and was advised to adjust my connection settings, which I did.  Switching to long polling and CDN seemed to help.  Today, however, i played nine 10-minute games on chess.com and had three "abandoned game" losses because my internet connection was disrupted by the same techno-glitch.  Losing 33 percent of the games I play because of this website's technical problems is what you might call a deal-breaker: I won't put up with it.
