Losing is a part of improving. If your not losing your not pushing yourself to play the best chess you can against the best opponents you can. I've lost a lot of games in Online Chess recently and I'm happy about it! Now I have more material to study and find my flaws with.

You have a diamond membership...I really think you should NOT stop playing as you would be wasting 100 bucks

so what is your criteria for continuing to play chess?

that you win half your games ?

or that you learn from each game ?

what is your objective in playing chess ?

i don't think you should quit, keep playing and improving. Playing higher rated players will improve your rating, but not by itself. You are only 1404 in online and around 1000 in the rest of your ratings. You are losing most of your games by tactics, so you should practice tactics a lot

if you do decide to give up chess, which i do not reccomend, before doing it, can you gift the rest of the money in your account to meLaughing

Wait, why not me? I demand a match to determine who gets the extra funds if that happens! Tongue Out

Losing is part of learning process. GM Seirawan when he was still a beginner lost 100 straight games, but these defeats did not stop him from seeking to improve and be a better player.

Anybody with a basic knowledge of chess knows how to win all their games.  Usually both white and black can deliver checkmate before move 25, sometimes simultaneously.  Sorry to say, but if you're actually losing some of your games you need to learn the rules...

With all due respect Joe Blob,

You're as much a poet,

as a sheep is a goat.

It is better that you're spitting,

than have Bad Dog No sh....!

And there shall be no hitting,

while i'm here sitting,

and figuring out the most befitting lines to say.

Yes I also have been on some bad losing streaks which definatly leave a mark on ones psyche lol.

I do not mind losing at all if I have played to the best of my ability and have simply been outplayed.

It's when I make silly blunders which shouldn't be happening which does my head in.

What I do now in live chess is play elo+100 and - 150 which enables me to win a little more than I lose and still learn along the way.

I think the learning process of chess is great at any level, so just enjoy the now and maybe improvement will come easier if that is what you seek.
