*** Lost rapid game because of 3 day game notification?

I'm playing the attached game and I get a notification that it's my turn to move in another game and I get disconnected and charged with a loss? What's up with this?

How were you accessing the site when it happened? Did the game try to load or did you get a message?

Martin, I was playing the 3|2 game and got a notification that it was my move for the 3 day game and then the notification about not being able to access the site and a message showing it was trying to reconnect.

Do you have the app as well and is it on Android?

This happens to me all of the time!

I would be playing a live match, and then I would get a notification on my phone via the Chess.com app, to say it's my turn in the daily game I'm playing. Then, I would be disconnected from my web browser until I quickly refreshed the page.

The app is not even open.

Yes I do.

Staff are looking into an issue where Android appears to he triggering the issue. I believe there's a fix being tested and will hopefully be be available in the near future.

You can contact support and ask. Since it looks like a normal disconnect los, there's unlikely to be any kind of automatic refunds.

I'll contact them. A disconnect due to a chess.com software issue shouldn't be charged to the user, but it's not like its $$ LOL
