Because when my rating was 100, and I lost, I didn't lose anything. My rating didn't go down to something like 87, because you can't have a rating less than 100.

The lowest Elo rating a player can have on Chess.com is 100. Once a player's rating drops to 100, it cannot go any lower. Any rating below 100 would indicate a system error or potential exploitation of the platform.
