What equivalent ratings are the various (10 or so) steps in the desktop Chess app that comes with Apple's Macintosh? I've searched the Internet, and somebody thinks first step ("computer thinks 1 move ahead") is 250, second step ("computer thinks 2 moves ahead") is 350, etc.
But I can't beat first step at my 1100 rating!
Another way to ask — what's your rating and which setting in Mac Chess can you beat consistently?
