And I say that not just because of what he said, but because the first time I saw this video I didn't even catch it! When I went to the news site and it said "strong language in video" I was like, what are they talking about? So I watched it again.

I guess I just couldn't imagine Carlsen talking like that to the press so my head just erased it! Carlsen's nonchalant tone makes me wonder if he knows how strong of a word native English speakers consider it!

Huh what is it with the video? Could someone explain?

Well... I suppose you could say his vocabulary is certainly more diverse.

I was shocked that he didn't seem sure whether the f*ckage occurred in the middlegame or the opening. (Could that be because he was cagey about revealing the extent of his opening preparation?)

I don't think he can help it.  I feel that his underbite just makes most of his smiles look like a smug grin.
