Maia on Android ? (OEX format)

HI everyone.

I'm trying to play against the Maia chess engine on Android, from within the "Chess for Android" app, and also via the "Acid Ape Chess" App. I've installed Maia chess engine that comes with the package "Chess Engines Collection 1.6" by Acid Ape Studios, but found the following:

Despite long time controls, Maia plays pretty much instantly. On shorter time control, this is very frustrating, and you end up losing by time every game.

Question is therefore if any of you knows of a different package, for Andoid and in "OEX" (Open Exchange Protocol), that contains Maia, so I can test if it shows the same behavior.

Isn't an engine, in a certain way, a form of chess equipment?
