Well in a way, that's true, (except you spelled it wrong) since d3 has been played. But 1. e3 e5 2. e4 is not a variation of the Van't Kruijs Opening. So, I can make up a name for it. For example, the Barnes Opening can turn into the King's Indian Defense: Saemisch Variation.
