What I've done these years is a combination of super chess grandmaster games engine analysis, fast control (bullet, blitz) games playing and a couple of tournaments to test the result.
I like the idea to test an idea to its maximum if I feel comfortable when playing (with) it until I find a better principle/idea.
I'm not playing anymore (mostly) by opening but more by principles; it helps bypassing the opening theory constant updating course that I can't seem to keep the tracks.
Grandmasters for inspiration: Karpov, Petrosian, Giri, Carslen, Kramnik, Anan, Radjabov, Fischer.
Hope this bring something to your play.
Good luck.
Hi guys!
I am making a lot of progress at the moment, but i want to get even better, faster!
I have premium membership at chess.com and I am using tactics, chess mentor, and watching videos.
I am thinking of doing less of theese training methods and start playing more games. About 10 min games, against stronger players and analyse all games when im done, so this way learning from my own mistakes.
What do you think of this?
