Nepo is a great person though
I'm sure Hikaru amplifies some of his "douchebag" personality traits for good entertainment value when he streams.

Who did he bring to chess that COVID, queen's gambit, or pogchamps didn't?
He's been playing online his whole life, but only just now became popular... he just rode the wave.

But being rude an arrogant is like almost every other chess player out there. Name your favorite chess player and I bet he is no different. Hate is such a strong word there must be more to this besides those videos you posted.
