So it is generally a well known fact that the Martin bot is, well, more than a little lacking in chess expertise. Most of us know, however, that Martin always takes advantage of a mate in 1 opportunity. However, the weirdest thing happened today. Martin MISSED mate in 1! I had started the standard fool's mate opening so that I could see Martin win. However, he played D5 instead of QH4#!
Game moves (with additional information) : 1. f3? e5 2. g4?? d4Ø 3. nc3?? qh4#!
Sorry I just realized the notation says d4 instead of d5.
Does anyone know why Martin would miss this? It honestly seems really bizarre. Normally bots don't miss mate in 1
The computer program is made to decide random points in which to blunder, or in this case randomely deciding to miss mate or not, but it might not be 50-50%, maybe more maybe less.

Okay, but I've never heard of an instance before, ever, of Martin missing mate in 1. There have probably been thousands of games against him, but this would definitely be the first I've heard of him doing this...
Martin is allergic to wood in real life. That's why he's bad.
