I have always been a bit suspicious of the online daily format but I will place my trust in you.
I am happy to play live when I get time , prefer to , I f you start on a low rating on daily , you will destroy all my hard work , my rating will be destroyed , I have just spent the last two hours discussing this exact topic on two threads , it pisses me off how titled players or any player starts with a low rating , for eg I have just been paired with an 800 player but he is really 1769 , probably higher in live , so this guy is likely to beat me and undo two weeks hard work in one game , it is a broken system , players who are already on chess.com should start other time formats like daily only 100 to 200 points under their live standard rapid time or blitz.
So I prefer not to play you live in case you start at 800 or 1200 , after you have played a few maybe , or unrated
You have an option when you sign up your account what rating you start on , by default i believe it is 500 or 800 , I have played strong players at 500 , again destroying my rating , I do not know if you can change this after like now , as high as you can set it is 1400 , 1200 is considered an average.
You should never lose to me , but if you did it will be you that , suffers a big lose , I completed a rating on chessmaster 6000 back in the day , it was rated 2800 on my PC , I had to complete 20 games to get an official rating I completed 40 and gained 2010 rating , I am suspicious of this as I am nowhere near that here , but I have beaten a 2200 rated player , and against the computer with a specific opening the Evens gambit , I was able to beat 1900 rated opponent % 50 of the time , so I am a little confused as to what my rating actually is , its 1547 now and feels about right , but clearly I have strong aspects to my play and some weak that keep my rating down , as I say my live used to be 1805 before destroying it by accident
People not starting from scratch in different time formats because they may be stronger, that's actually an interesting point. But then again you don't know how someone will perform under different circumstances.
I for example am a Blitz player through and through. I even prefer it for OTB matches. I like putting my opponents under pressure, most importantly time pressure. Obviously I know how to play chess, but I am certain that I wouldn't do as well with a longer time control, because of that pressure being such a crucial part of my game.
Ok yeah you make a good point too , I can fully relate to that , I prefer longer time control , but can perform ok in fast time control , for fun sometimes would play 10 second game lol with 2 second increment to force instant play OTB , I could not play online bullet though , you need to have pre moves sussed and practice at it , I have watched games that sound like a machine gun at the start brrrrrrt... all auto moves , Hey I will make an effort over next couple of days to have a live with you bit late now , but how about tomorrow night if you are around ?
You actually figured out exactly what high level bullet truly is. Most people who don't know just say "I don't even know how they can move the mouse so fast?" You are spot on, it's all about premoves at the 2300+ level.
They know each line/opening 40 moves deep and simply premove everything.
I'd like to up my Daily a bit but if you insist on Blitz I'd like you to hit 1500 there too.

I just had a look at your stats , so you do not even have a daily or 960 rating ? , yes you will start at about 500 to 800 rating unless you set it different when you signed up your account lol

Yeah, I am playing a couple Daily games today to up my rating. Any tips or suggestions? I think I am gonna play solid with a London and not try any gambits. I have been reading a bunch of two knights theory lately, especially the traxler attack after bxf7. Telling you I'm lethal in that variation right now.😂
No tips or suggestions for daily games , they are same as any format just no pressure , the thing is peoples ratings are always about the same for daily as live or blitz it makes no different if you think an hour before moving or a few minutes you will likely play the same move.
I use the analysis board to work out complex variations , ( the magnifying glass icon ), daily you can use data base , just not engine obviously as that is cheating , I only use data base if I am learning an opening and I want to know the best resoonce to a specific move , or general play in the opening , I just hse the analysis boad all the time , you just move pieces around try stuff out
As far as cheating in dailys , hardly ever happens and no more than in blitz games , I have played hundreds of dailys and only discovered one cheater , I regularly check , sometimes I suspect , look at their history analysis their games and no they are definitely not cheating , I have only been informed of two cheats by chess.com , one was a daily game the other live

No I do a wide range of things , I am a painter by trade , but mostly building now after earthquake damage , I look after and maintain 5 properties , everything from building painting gardening and house cleaning.
I am building a fully customized PC but not for money lol
I was meaning the puzzles rating , yes my daily games are very slow to increase rating because they are similar ratings , a win going up 4 to 7 points each win on average.
Yeah if I was to get my live rating up I would search much higher rated players , because I can play a strong game at times , and would get a big rating boost with the odd win
