Thanks blueemu, I figured this was the under-9 boys championship as the details said which is why I questioned the ratings. I'm just surprised this game is included in the "Masters Games" section of the opening explorer. Seems games that were played by masters prior to them becoming masters wouldn't be included, I always thought the ratings listed by the players were the rating of the players at the time of the game.
I came across this master game when reviewing a friends game and using the "opening explorer" on chess.com https://www.chess.com/a/29ZLvLvb8zE7p . Is this game categorized correctly and have the correct player ratings? It is hard to imagine 2500 level playing a game like this and it appears to be in an under age 9 tournament if I'm not mistaken.
I tried searching for the black player and came up with this same game on a few other sites with the same player ratings but the only FIDE account I could find had the player marked with no rating. Just strange this game is showing up in the Master game archive and I'm curious if these are truly 2500 players.
