In order that someone  becomes fond of attack on board,should he opt for a risky lifestyle in the meantime?

However,It was Tal who said that if you don't run after chances,(real) life becomes very boring...

I would agree with that as I am not a very risky person in life and I have to work hard at being aggressive on the board

I think calculated risk is beneficial, but it's very important here to distiguish between risk and recklessness.
