Mastering tactics

I want to start the seven circles training strategy from the book called "Rapid chess improvement". I could get the ct-art 3.0 book but I got the ct-art 4.0 book by the same author. Now I am not sure if they both have the same content or the on I have is Abit more advanced.

So my question is, is this book okay or not.

PS, I really want to check this seven circles thing out, so any suggestion would be great.

I am not sure how I could use chess Tempo for the seven circles so I just decided to follow the recommendations in the book.

Unfortunately I don't own a computer in order to use the software so I went to the next best thing, a book.

Thanks, but I have to ask do you know anyone who has ever completed seven cycles of 1000+ tactics because that's what I am trying to achieve inorder to take the first step of mastering tactics.

A daily handfull of tactics doesn't seem to be doing much.
