The time limit is infinity

So, what you're saying is that it is impossible for anybody to win. Congratulations on not perpetuating the stereotype of the moronic Christian...

Most of the games of chess I ever played had no time limit. None of them were impossible to win.

Can you provide a bible reference for that?

This is so retarded that it doesn't warrant a proper response.

You just did.

No I didn't. I even added an additional word into the common phrase to make that all the more true. Yet somebody still insists on incorrectly calling me out on it.

You're a bit special aren't you? I never even directed such a comment towards you so your latest post makes even less sense than your last. I won't further respond to the idiots on this thread. Untracking.

I'd rather see the game between the God of Biomechanics and the tag team of the guy with accelerated decrepitude and Roy Batty, that must have been a pretty cool mate-in-one at the end!

What's the time-control?

its a one minute bullet 20 game deathmatch.

Idk.. Satan sounds pretty badass..

JeanMichelJamJar

yeah Jenn, i think he's the bookies favourite.

MisterBoy

So since he has run away in a tantrum, can anyone explain why a game with infinite time limit (i.e. no time limit at all) is impossible to win?

AkumaX

Salut. Because it'd be even more boring and ppl would just forfeit.

Smoothfang

Someone losing would just stall forever and you wouldn't be able to win.

Pit me against Carlsen, he would crush me, maybe get a rook advantage with mate in one, then I would stall forever untill we all die and the game wouldnt have a winner.

MisterBoy

OK, that doesn't mean the game is impossible to win. It just means the other player can choose to make it impossible. I think this is a rather important distinction. For example, you could beat a fairly average player even if they used this tactic, if you mated them by surprise! And not every player would emply this tactic.

Just read the Game of pawns comments and wwooooowwwww the dude is ridiculously angry at someone just not sure who exactly

Godisgood77

Try Isaiah 14 verse 12 to 14 this really explains satans intention

bible was probably desecrated by trolls long before the 20th century started.

Godisgood77

Why do u say dat jamjar if I may ask

JeanMichelJamJar
there are surely many people down through the ages that wanted the truth hidden from people. each editor rewriting new editions in his own interpretations and biases. so many cooks involved! are the original texts even anywhere to be found ? In any case, these discussions are not allowed, the OP just wants a fun thread I imagine.

Abraham vs. Nimrod would be a far more interesting match.  I'd bet on Abraham, he is perhaps the greatest man who ever lived.  He performed the ultimate act of love and loyalty by being willing to sacrifice the son whom he loved and raised for years for God.  He didn't have to sacrifice him of course but he passed God's test by showing he was willing, and the rest is history.
