Matchmaking?

Whenever I try to start a daily game it seems almost random the ranking of my opponent. I just got matched with someone with a 300 ranking (I am 1100)... I aborted before making a move.
Is there a way to get matched more closely?
I'd like to play people maybe 100 lower or 100 higher if possible.
I play daily move games only--3 days per move or 5 days per move. What I do is look at the membership lists of different clubs and challenge only players who are close to me in rating, because I want to have opponents of a skill level similar to mine . That is the only time I ever pay attention to my rating.
