max rating too low?

A friend and i have been playing against each other and only today i got a max rating too low. What is this and why is this a factor in an unrated game?

This means that you have settings that only let you play people who are near your rating. If you go to Settings, click on Live Chess, and then adjust the filters titled Incoming and Outgoing, this will let you play people who are further away from you in rating. However, you might not want to adjust these filters, because if you have filters that are too far away, you'll sometimes get automatically paired with people who are too easy or too hard.
