Hi there.
My name is Simon I am 49yrs old & I've been playing chess since I was a boy.
I've only ever been quite average, my elo or fide rating on red hot pawn.com
is only ever around the 1300-1400 mark, occasionally breaking into the 1500 bracket. I would like to improve my middle game
& also try and learn some more about openings and countering openings.
I would be extremely grateful and appreciate it very much if would be kind enough to give me some guidance and educate me in the parts of chess I'm looking to improve upon.

Many Kind Regards
Simon.

1200 FIDE here on chess.com, I can help. The secret to mastering the middle game is mastering the opening. At our level, intense opening study is the key to improvement. Hope this helped!

Geez do you just stalk the forums in search of people to teach?

There's nothing wrong in browsing forums looking for students that would be a good mutual partnership. I have started two great partnerships with students who have improved substantially in the last few months due to Chess.com.
