Lofina. These kids and their agility amazes me...almost. I swear they all can be stunt devils. I should have been. lol.
Funny you mention the microwave. There's an outlet to the right of the pic. My 14 year old figured this out. When the mic is plugged into that outlet and then used, it short circuits the whole kitchen and bedroom to the left of the pic!
So, does it work? yes. But it may be possessed. (it's not plugged in in that pic.) 
You need to do something on the rewiring, Mexi🤔
It sure sounds like an "overload?" on the circuit breaker?
It's a technical term that is not coming to mind right now (maybe some of the guys on here would know).....
I had an oven that I could not plug 🔌 in if I had to use it, and the reason I was provided ..... I had too many appliances in use at the same time whilst I was in the kitchen.... Blender, Electric Stove, and so forth......
[each part of the house should have (will have) a limit to the number of high Watts appliances you can use?]
Or the fuse on the microwave could be faulty?
Speaking of dare devils, maybe it just in the Hispanic DNA 😆🤣

@ Mexi & lofina There are only 2 reasons a breaker would trip. 1. a short, 2. you overloaded the amperage of the breaker.
If the microwave is on the same circuit as the refrigerator and both are cranking it may trip the breaker. Mexi if you are tripping a 20 amp breaker you need to plug stuff in in other spots.
If I was there Mexi I could tell you exactly what you need to do and how much it would cost you for me to be there to tell you that..

That was the word the electrician threw at me = amperage 😊
for those of us that have worked construction, i have to share what a well known radio personality spoke of one day. he had a plumbing issue on a sunday. not knowing what to do, he called a plumber. well, he had to pay $300 to fix the problem. the host said, "why did he he charge $300? because he can".
this resonated with me, as i have, in the past, had to go to work at midnight. who wants to go to work on a sunday, or, at midnight? nobody!
and that's why those that know get paid the bucks they get.
Live or not, no big deal, those of us who are on the civilized world probably won't be able to watch it live anyway. But it would be interesting!
