No such thing as bad publicity I guess? Because otherwise seems like a big failure on his record. What was it that he wanted?

topcop, can you tell me what planet we are on? Or what day it is?

Maybe you can Google it. Or read the ten million posts that preceeded yours.

What a nasty little dipsh*t we have here.  Maskedbishop, you really are unjustifyably arrogant.  Why?  Based on your profile and your remarks you are nothing special as a player and sound like a snotty 12 year old.  If you don't like a question ignore it and don't hide behind a forum to say things you wouldn't have the nerve to say in person. Very cowardly and stupid.

I'm wondering about "millionaire" chess when the prize fund is now guaranteed at $10000000.

Take no bother topcop. Those two will now take turns with pop shots at myself. Some people can only validate their meager existance by nasty, better than thou comments.

Amy's hand in marriage ?

Back to the topic. I looked at the current standings and observed at the bottom of the list of players alot of names with *U* straight across the board. I recall this stands for *Unplayed* ? Did the players withdraw? Ask for a refund at the last minute? Quite a long list in top 2 sections.

Some people happen to be better than other people.  Some people happen to be smarter than other people.

This is why not all chess games end in a draw.

Get over it.

Topcop posts like an idiot and deserves to be treated as such.  You do as well, a lot of the times.  Sometimes you post the most ridiculous & banal idiocy and as such deserve the scorn you recieve for it.

Deal with it.

Up your game.

the scorn, any scorn for that matter, deserves some massive leg on someone's head, consequences I guess

mdinnerspace

Get over it Richie. Not all posts are to be taken seriously. Some people are capable of a little humor. You go out of your way to find any excuse to slam people's comments so as to show "you are better and smarter". Must be quite lonely on that side of the board.

U stands for unpaired.  If you look at the first round, most of them forfeited.  Strange, they paid $500 or $600 and didn't show up.  Maybe like last year, some people who withdrew were paired in the first round?

mdinnerspace

Unpaired. Thanks. I suspect they withdrew at the last moment yet remained on the pairing sheet. If this was the case, you can deduct at least 50 from the 401 entries announced.

mdinnerspace

A withdrawal was allowed up to 24 hours before start. Seems names were left on sheets to reflect a larger amount of entries. Look at the u2200. A dozen+ names all followed by *U* for every round.

"I am betting that mb would have said that in person. I know I would have."

Not a chance missy. Let's get real. In real life, keyboard tuffies like you are chicken-hearted cowards that hide behind the anonymity of the internet.

I'd love to meet you in person. If you're a tournament player, chances are we will meet sooner or later.

I specialize in bully beat downs, ma'am and I'm happy to teach you the manners that your parents failed to.

So are you tough or not? I'm confused tongue.png

mdinnerspace

Have not a clue whether he's tough or not. Always remains to be seen. But he is taking a stand. Something far too many avoid as they shun any conflict

I have been in very few physical conflicts, avoid them if possible. But when it does happen, a surprise was in store. Made me think, could of been a prize fighter?

topcop
Man, you couldn't be a pimple on a fighters ass. Just quit being a dick and show some courtesy to your fellow posters and we"ll be fine.

Stop acting like you're anything special because you're not.

I guarantee you would not talk shit to my face and if you think otherwise then just let me know what tournaments you'll be attending, your name and rating.

I do travel and we can hook up and test how bad-ass you think you are. I'm not only a chessplayer, but I do teach manners to douche bags whose parents obviously failed them.

Now you and the other masked lady -wipe the cheetos off your fingers, move out of your parents basement, and get your GED.

Ladies, to get a good job you need a good education. It's just that simple.

I hope topcop isn't really a cop.

themaskedbishop

Oh, I know topcop, he's just a kidder at heart. A big softie, and kind of sexy in a get-your-freak-on way.  You should see him at Halloween parties...then you'd really understand his handle :)

mdinnerspace

You talking to me topcop?

mdinnerspace

If so, and it sure appears as such, you have not a clue that I had supported your original stand. Now, I take it all back, as obviously you are not capable of comprehending someone's meaning.
