Now, a lot of low rated players would probably blitz out Rg8 because, hey, a pin-ish looking move, so why not (Nf4 saves the knight).
I didn't find the best move, but, a reasonable player realizes they'll have better chances in the R+B vs R+N endgame and if for no other reason than white's rook is very awkward black should not want to swap rooks.

Consequently, it's some old endgame tip (maybe I read from Keres?) about the rook being lifted to an open rank in the endgame, to harass enemy pawns. Too bad I didn't make use of it in this game (even though I did end up winning).
