This is a mistake. The tactics said that QxKg5 was wrong and that BxB was the correct move. But that's completely wrong because if you do that whites next move is Qxf7 checkmate.

That's not today's puzzle.
Very rarely are there mistakes. Usually weak players don't see the threats or don't understand that the opponent's moves aren't e.g. automatically captures when the captures are clearly bad and lead to mate. The opponent's moves have to work against your idea.
Also sometimes the opponent is threatening mate, so you don't have time to do whatever you want.
