Yes though mistakes occure in all parts of game but end game mistakes are more dangerous as you don't get time to rectify it. If one can reduce number of blunders / mistakes one can be fairly strong player. There are many ways we can reduce mistakes
1- Better knowledge. Only if have proper understanding you can find correct moves.
2-Proper visualisation of future position. So visualisation practice is helpful
3-Regular practise of themes like Fork,Guard removal,Pin,Back rank mates etc makes you elert of those posbilities.
4-Game study of master games help you to remove mistakes of positional nature.
These are general advices but a coach / trainer can tell you after watching your games what you you should do to reduce blunders. So take any help available.
