haha. that was outrageous. though I was really put off by the way it ended...what the hell was she thinking?
i always find that its best to keep the lady away from the chess board as she doesnt play the game and attempts to distract by pinching the king or kang as she calls it. personally i think it should be classed as abuse. lol

Hmmm, I really think there are a lot of us women chess players who don't chat a lot with you fellows. We love chess! My sister-in- law and I play every time the family gets together for a holiday dinner--we are totally cut throat and the husbands & kids go off somewhere bored!
But just for the record--my husband was much better than me at first--he learned to play while he was in the "joint." Now I can beat him!

I also have experienced many many boys who have no interest in chess.
In my experience boyfriends do not mix with chess, either cannot play, or barely know how to, and certainly showed no interest or talent in that direction...despite my efforts with teaching them. 
i wasnt saying that women shouldnt play chess, just that my woman doesnt, and that shes a theif. lol
Well this woman does.........and i only take what i deserve. Im still waiting to meet an Englishman that can give me a decent game of chess.
have just challenged you to a game cheekychops. hope you accept.
It would be an honour and a privilege to have a GOOD chess game with an Englishman.
i'm "straight" but i wonder if "gay" players have a different slant on that question.............just thinking outloud
If you can get them started they may well get hooked.

My wife doesn't play chess. She even doesn't intend to play chess. And she is a complete analphabeth in chess... + she don't like to play the game. But she is a wonderful pianist and organist, which I am not. Therefor I have chess.com, my chessclub and chessmates and she has the piano, the orgue and fans. 
Once I saw a guy that often went to the chess club with girlfriend.
She did not play chess, he played and she waited. I thought: what
is a love ! How she has patience to wait him for hours !
Unfortunately, in my life I did not met such girls.
my fiancee used to play chess, but she wasn't as into it as i was, and she gets very competitive. now i don't bother asking her if she wants to play me anymore :) i feel like i'd do the same if i was in her position though. i think there's a saying (or something) out there that goes "the first time you beat your dad at chess is the last time he'll ever play you" lol
I've wondered what it would be like to meet areally strong woman player.
I like shopping alone. No women or men. I wonder what that says.
It says you are one serious shopper !
