First one: you are driving by a bus stop, and you see your friend that you owe a favor to, your soul mate (you know it though), or a dying woman. You only have enough room in your car to fit one, who would you choose.

Common answer then!

You have an idea for a thread that has nothing to do about chess.  Do you put it in the proper place of Off topic or risk being reprimanded for not following the rules?

You are in life-threatening danger..
You feel as if someone is in the darkness..

Which will you choose?
(Attack at the darkness)
Or
(Flee)

BTW.
(You are in one of those grassy fields in the middle of the night for some reason that I don't feel like making up)

I will answer but this is not a moral dilemma, but I would fight.

Dying woman, of course. If it's your soul mate, they'll forgive you not picking them up. Your friend you owe a favor to is less important than a life/death scenario.

You will never meet your soul mate again. Ever. In this scenario.

Older. 60 or 70.

Here I have another one: You are an inmate in a concentration camp. A sadistic guard is about to hang your son who tried to escape and wants you to pull the chair from underneath him. He says that if you don't he will not only kill your son but some other innocent inmate as well. You don't have any doubt that he means what he says. What should you do?

Then I'd take my soul mate. After all, if the woman is older, she has likely exercised her impact on the world already. But your soul mate and you might have kids that change the world, or grandkids that change the world, etc.

You know what I would do, I would give my car to my friend to take the dying woman to the hospital and wait at the bus stop with my soul mate.

Well, that almost feels like cheating.

Eh, you could say that. Sorry gtg my iPad is at 1% if you think of or look up anymore the post them.

That's tough, I honestly have no idea.

Parthurnaax.

You strike into the darkness.
But there was no one there...

(Yet surely I WOULD'Ve made some one appear if you tried to (Flee))

Thus I come to the conclusion that:

"Life isn't always fair...
Especially with dilemmas!"

I was thinking about making a thread in the CHT for this. It's pretty fun.

Okay, here's one for ya! You are walking down a path at night, and you are lost. As you are walking, you hear a call for help...But it's coming of the trail, and if you take it you'll surely get lost much longer, and you may starve. They call out again. What do you do?

Rescue them.
