You blundered a little bit. Here is a lesson: The rook is better then a bisschop. so when you moved knight to g7 you could better put it at f8 because you was attacking the bisschop and the rook. And when black did Qb5 you could immidiately attack it with your knight. Because black could move the queen away. But luckely black just let the queen there. And you could attack it easily

I blundered 3 times by not capturing his queen 3 times.

No; in snoozyman's game, Nxf8 would have been a huge blunder.

- The obvious Qxb5 is +16.2

- Nxg7, which is a "mistake", is +5.28

- Nxf8?? Bxc3 +2.19; whole win is gone

Here are two lessons.

- A rook is not always better than a bishop. You need to see the circumstances in which one piece is favoured over the other. The bishop on g7 was more of a troublemaker as compared to the rook on f8. Snoozyman was correct in eliminating the bishop, if given the choice between the two.

- In this specific scenario, Nxf8?? is met with Bxc3, killing White's hopes of winning the queen AND the exchange has to be returned in the next move. White should be thankful that he is still up a healthy pawn. Calculation is important when it comes to analysing a position.
