Please explain your question ! Population and chess competition have no relation to each other.

China and India have a certain population and Germany for example has a tough chess competition.

Reminds me of my friend from Yemen back in college. He would ask 'isn't it?" at the end of a sentence as his way of saying "isn't that true, don't you agree with me?".
