Computer problem. I've had something similar happen. My computer was acting up before i had connected to that site.

I think it's a Java issue. Too many players with the same problem.

Whenever you have to ask that question in relation to a game on chess.com, the answer is always "mouse." I don't know enough about other chess sites to say the same about them, but I suppose that would probably hold true for other major chess sites as well.
