imagine if there was a thingy where if you make a mouse slip you can offer a go back like offering a draw

equivalent of a mulligan

Lichess has this. If you play an unintended move you can ask your opponent to let you take it back.

I never understood this option. I am not sure if I do this that opponent will do the same in return.

lichess only has this for unrated though, right? The same is true on chess.com; there's a takeback button in unrated I thought. I'm not 100% sure, but I thought there was a setting or this, or maybe it's only in Daily chess. Idk for sure, but I thought I saw it before.

In rated chess, there shouldn't be a takeback option; a tournament wouldn't give you a takeback, so rated games shouldn't either.

Rated Lichess does allow takebacks if there is a mutual agreement. I only saw it once, but still.

Why not just switch from dragging to click?

Deadmanparty

Miss clicks are part of internet chess. Just resign and start a new game

Bro I blundered my queen thanks to a mouse slip in an online tournament and almost lost the game
