Moving a piece to the wrong space

Some times I accidentally move a piece to the wrong space and i lose either the peice or the game. This is fustrating me. Can some one help me?

The whole game of chess is a quest to not move pieces to the wrong square.

You're clearly ahead of me. In those situations I lose the piece AND the game. :-)

I think that i should click on the peice and then click on the desired square. Maybe that will help.
