Play perfection.
no, you don't need perfect moves, you want to memorize an opening and while you move really quickly the time your opponent thinks on a move is where you also think for his moves and your moves+ tactics.
first of your welcome, i didn't know that was in one of his videos lol, and also perfection is a game in the 95+
my english is not so good, but here's my takes on the time pressure problem, some players play very fast, some don't, some play what is consider slow to us, im probably on the slow side at the moment but the key word here is moment, i guarantee you the solution to the problem is if you keep playing thousands of games you'll eventually get faster overtime and you will notice it when you play games with everyone at blitz, its fixed and that means you don't lose it tomorrow. usually, theirs usually drawbacks to those players who play bullet fast, they usually miss tactics and make mistakes the most. other than you got to figure out what's really slowing you down and if you can change that.
I struggle in bullet compared to blitz because I'm new, but for bullet I have found success either being very offensive, sacrificing pieces, or very defensive with the idea to just not get mated. Works well <500 elo
Learn a solid opening with safe moves that you can mostly premove. Do it very quickly at the start and while your opponent is doing the first 5 moves or so of their opening start making plans and looking for tactics. I hate this but it is true-- if you can make your opponent respond to your moves than they have to think more than you because you will sort of have a plan for the next 3-5 moves where they are constantly having to reset. I find aggressive chess where players are trying to control each other annoying (I much prefer logical chess with beautiful structures/tactics) but it does work well in bullet. Aside from chess strategies I think it helps to take a deep breath before the match so you're not stressed out. It also helps to listen to fast high energy music. It helps to to be well rested and to do cardio and eat garlic and spicy foods. Vegetables speed up your brain too.
in a lot of my games i have better accuracy than my opponent. but they win on time. How can i learn to play faster ?
