Moving Pawns 2 or 1 space?

Hi sorry to ask basic questions but I have been told to move your Pawns first that are in front of the Queen and King. Can I ask which of your Pawns do you move 2 spaces and which do you move 1 space please. This is so I start the game off strongly. Thank you.

Moving the pawn in front of the king two squares as white is considered best by test.
As black when white moves one of his central pawns two squares, best is to move the corresponding pawn two squares.

Ok so two but then what about all the other Pawns how many spaces should you move them please?

Only play your e- and d-pawns, two squares if you can, one square if you must.

It also depends on chess opening you play.

Some chess openings have pawns 2 spaces and others have pawns 1 space
