I've experimented with different genres of rock music while playing chess. It seems that anything fast-paced, like metal, punk, and some grunge is bad while slower-paced, indie rock seems to help me focus, so I listen to Radiohead and Oasis when I play chess.

I wonder something about you. It is said that while studying it is not suggested to listen music. It is because of the fact that it reduces your concentrarion on the subject you study. My question is "What do you think about it?" "Is this issue related with chess either?". If you like to listen musics, could pls what kinds of musics do you listen while playing chess.
