You know who was a great composer, but also a player of Master strength? Sergey Prokofiev!

Interesting indeed. I too am a musician, though to call me an amateur would be much too kind. I simply love to play with instruments, real or virtual, and something playful as this intrigues.
But having not heard this piece I am left to my... other inclinations. Encoding information -- a work such as this one can only make one wonder what else out there in the world, on my playlist, is occulted from me.
Interesting..... Came here just because everyone was stating that you are the coolest women mod on chess.com

I kind of like it.
I wouldn't get an MP3 file as is, but it might make a nice interlude or scene transition ambiance. Perhaps some chess fan might take these few seconds and weave it into a chess song of their own or something. At the very least, it might serve as inspiration: you never really know ...

Here the version I have:

Here's a little something I had published on my old website about the Soviet composer Dimitri Shostakovich
you made me think of this batgirl
Juga has another song called isolated pawn , will post it after this vid, hope you enjoy
@ANOK1 Thanks. I'd never heard of Juga. The Marshall Chess Club video gave a nice tour of that space. I noticed in the set of photos from the Marshall Club's Metropolitan League championship, 17 year old Tony Santasiere's name is give as Edward (his middle name).
The Isolated Pawn served up a clever metaphor. I can't say I'm cray about Juga's guitar playing and voice, but she is definitely an original.

I came across this while looking for something else. I though it was worth sharing:
Looking a little deeper I found this in "Music and Chess: Apollo Meets Caissa" by Achilleas Zographos (2017):
Speaking of Slonimsky: Slonimsky's Book of Musical Anecdotes by Nicolas Slonimsky makes a pretty good read even if there are no chess connections within.
