My bullet rating increased by 150 points!! WOWOWOWOW !!

How did this happen my bullet rating increased?? How??

Almost all people are facing this , my chess.com friend and streamer @vishnu_vijay_93 faced this as well.

In a recent review, we found that bullet chess ratings are consistently about 150 points lower than blitz ratings. To correct this, we are increasing bullet chess ratings for all active bullet users on the site by 150 points. This change will take place for every player who has played a rated bullet game the next time they log in to chess.com/live.

I really didn´t see the need for this update. Bullet rating is probably, on average, lower than blitz because it´s practically impossible to cheat in this time format (the main reason I play it). I feel absolutely no satisfaction about my ratings increase, just cheapens the rating system to be honest (that said: please don´t take my new rating points away!). 

why did they change the rating given for a win/loss as well? normally like 7/8 per game. now 100?

Wow my rapid rating increased 250 points! I went from 1755 to 2002 rapid rating.

I assume they wanted to make our blitz and our rapid ratings the same?

they said.... most people's bullet ratings are much lower than their blitz ratings so we're increasing everyone's bullet by 150 as soon as you log on to live chess.
